Phu Quoc in September. Golden sunshine, a sea breeze, and the IDS family stepping off the plane full of excitement. For three days, we set aside deadlines, the pressures of the third quarter, and everything else to spend time together.
Day 1 Morning: Setting Sail, Fishing, and Exploring the Sea
On the first morning, the group boarded a boat for Hon Dua. Anyone who has fished at sea knows the feeling: sunlight sparkling on the water, a line disappearing beneath the surface, and then the thrill of pulling up a big, dripping fish. Cheers and laughter filled the boat. How many fish each person caught hardly mattered. Everyone was there to have fun.
Those eager for a swim jumped into a small bay near Hon Dua, where colourful coral and fish surrounded them. Confident swimmers took a float; those who could not swim wore life jackets and held on to an extra float. Some were reluctant to get out of the water even when the guide called them back. That is the beauty of Phu Quoc’s sea: once you are in, you do not want to leave.

Lunch was fresh seafood served right on the boat.

Day 2 Afternoon: Grand World and Kiss Bridge
On the second afternoon, the group headed to Grand World, the heart of Phu Quoc United Center and a city of entertainment that never sleeps. Lights shimmered and music filled the air. Despite the rain, 60 of us piled into six electric carts and made our way through Grand World’s lively lanes.
Everyone made a stop at Kiss Bridge, one of Phu Quoc’s best-known landmarks. There were photos, laughter, and plenty of romantic poses. Even the hardest-to-please members of the team could not resist taking a selfie. Grand World felt like a movie that day: colourful, energetic, and hard to forget.

Gala Night: The Spirit That Brought Us Together
If we had to choose the most memorable moment of the trip, it would be the gala dinner.
The stage lights came on, the MC began, and the band and singers took over. Soon the whole IDS team was singing, dancing, and raising glasses together. Departments, titles, and the usual distance between colleagues faded away. We were simply teammates enjoying the night together.

CEO Pham Dinh Nguyen opened the evening with an honest message. He spoke frankly about a difficult period and the pressures the team was facing. He also spoke warmly of the people and teams who had persevered and stood by IDS.
“We don’t shy away from difficulties, but we won’t let them make us lose faith.”
His words resonated with the team that night. We knew we were going through an important chapter together. No one had to face it alone.

That night, the fire came from the people of IDS themselves.
Returning, Ready to Continue
After three days in Phu Quoc, the team returned to work carrying something more important than luggage: a renewed sense of readiness for what lies ahead.
The rest of 2026 will not be easy, and the fourth quarter still holds many challenges. But as CEO Pham Dinh Nguyen said at the gala:
“If we hold on to our kindness, integrity, and team spirit, I believe IDS will get through this period and emerge stronger.”
TOGETHER, WE KEEP MOVING FORWARD. 💪
